New blog, New start. This shall be a blog for doodles and artwork. I had been dilly-dallying over a week as to whether I should set up this doodleblog. Congratulations for battling all the hand-coding bits and bits, here and there after three bouts of tasting free three different templates provided before settling on the forestgreen layout. Greeny foresty browny woods feeling. I'm loving it.
Doodling is fun. A vivid memory of the childhood times where mother would give us sets of Crayola crayons, colour pencils, free SIA crayons, drawing blocks and we would draw and draw as we like. Once, we scribbled on the walls secretly with fanciful crayons. The most memorable moment would be where my siblings and I sat on the floor in a circle with a single piece of paper in front of us. A new entrance was drawn starting with my brother and I would continue from where he stopped at, creating another path with gadgets pointing down at the person. This was followed on by my sister who continued it, extending the path in a different angle, adding sharp razors and special devices which would send electric shocks when a person walked through. This went on with the next round continuously. Looking back on it, we must have played sonic games too much. :)
Another favorite childhood memory was that my mom would encourage us to draw animals when she brought us to the zoo. Zebra. Giraffe. Kangaroo. It was really fun and it indeed felt wonderful being a child full of innocence, imagination and wild thoughts. Once in a lifetime as a child. Just a few hours ago, I was viewing the Children Arts' exhibition "Boxed Out!" at Jendela (Visual Arts Space), Esplanade. Kudos to talented children. So do go for that exhibition which will be on till 30th Oct, free admission. Creative, colourful and impressive artworks!
The past selected doodles and illustrations (mostly this year) I could retrieve so far:
