This was where Queen E needed my help to finish it. I was told to draw major details so that we could paint, following the drawing lines. Somehow, I could only manage to draw a few as it was really complicated at the complexity of the busy Tokyo. After painting the lamp post and the first truck at the left side, I couldn't draw anymore. I felt that it was only by painting that i can build on. I was stuck there, not knowing how to explain her that I was unable to draw in details. Thankfully, she somehow sensed it and decided to let me do my way.

While i was painting Tokyo, she painted a smiley face on my knee. And we both ended up, smearing paint on each other. Haha, it was fun.

Tuesday night, Wednesday night, whole of Thursday (Caught a cold. Tsktsk!), Saturday whole afternoon and almost whole of Sunday. And countless of travelling time to and fro between Yishun and Tampines and Simei and workplace. North - East - West.
All for that painting above up to that state and it could have been a lot better.

Sitting. Squatting. Bending. Standing. Kneeling. The moment I took a break, my bones went all clucketycluckcluck. Then again, it was rewarding to see the result of the painting from the start to the end.
Now I do understand why acrylic is costly and how it works differently from watercolours, gouache, postercolours. And how the feeling is different when painting on canvas rather than on different kinds of papers.
Thank you Queen E for such an enriching experience and for trusting me including the fact that I had no experience, honestly.

Seriously, I still wish I could finish it.
