and I had her really delicious strawberry cheesecake and pumpkin roll cake on Christmas Eve in Lincoln County, West Virginia. Her smiley, radiant face in homely, cosy kitchen inspired me to whip up a watercolor piece for them and also as a way of thanking them. <3
