During the visit to New York for the first time in late May / June this year, I grabbed the opportunity to join the sketch night event (figure drawing) which takes place twice every week at the Society of Illustrators. It was really nice to be finally there especially at the Hall of Fame and viewed the original works up-close. They were beautifully created by my favorite illustrators like Al Hirschfeld, J.C. Leyendecker, James Montgomery Flagg, Dean Cornwell, Winsor McCay, Bernie Fuchs, Coby Whitmore and many.
