Hello! I'm currently in New York City, attending the SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators) Winter Conference for the first time. Really exciting. So far, I just had the first day of attending the Intensive Workshop today. It was really interesting and helpful to hear all the inspiring talks by the awesome speakers like Shaun Tan, The Brothers Hilts and so many more. I will talk more about the conference soon in the next post. I looked forward to receive more information and advice from the professionals. I admit it is hard for an introvert like me to really get out and mingle with people. Nonetheless, I should appreciate this opportunity and I'm still trying my very best.

Hope you have an awesome time!! It sounds like a once in a lifetime experience and I'm sure you'll make the most of it! And from a fellow introvert, it can be hard especially to step outside your comfort zone, but I've found I'm the most rewarded sometimes when I do:) Good luck Angeline!!
