Based on the memory of seeing children laugh and play with cooling splashes from the water fountain at Union Square Park. So much joy for the simplicity in life.
I tried not to focus too much on perfecting the details in this illustration but rather the mood through lighting, less colors and characters' poses. It felt strange without the critique from my Teacher and classmates now that we are out of school and how we have to decide on our own which conceptual idea and composition layout work the best.
On a happy note, I'm pleased to say that one of my works was selected to be part of 3x3 Student Show! Thank you, Judges.
